Title: Computing in the Steenrod Algebra using Sage

is a noncommutative ring which is important in algebraic topology. I will introduce the Steenrod algebra and try to indicate some ways in which topologists use it, both in every day use and at the cutting-edge. I will also state some open problems relating to . I will try to illustrate many of these topics using code I've written for Sage.
